Bugzilla – Bug 12393
Need splash screen artwork for Windows Control Panel
Last modified: 2011-08-12 07:38:07 UTC
Created attachment 5338 [details] artwork currently being used Seth asked me to add a splash screen to the control panel as it is slow to load. I doubt anyone will think the current solution is a great idea :-).
Couple of questions: 1. What size are we talking about 600x800, etc.? 2. What is going to be shown behind the splash screen if any? 3. What is the deadline for this artwork request?
> 1. What size are we talking about 600x800, etc.? No, rather smaller. I'd say typical splashcreens on Windows aren't bigger than 480x320px > 2. What is going to be shown behind the splash screen if any? Whatever is running at the moment (nothing we control) > 3. What is the deadline for this artwork request? ...
I need to give Noah more info on this one...
Michael, I need a screenshot of the current implementation...
There's nothing today. I'm using the "Logitech Squeezebox" type as a placeholder.
this is an administrative shuffle on priority fields to help make better judgment on the top end of the priority list. P4->P5, P3->P4, and P2->P3.
Bump to Weldon. Given schedule and vacation this will most likely fall to me...
Noah: you mentioned the "free your music" logo being here, that sounds like a reasonable plan. Still need to figure out size?
Matt Weldon doesn't work for us any more.
