Description Kevin Pearsall 2005-03-29 12:06:57 UTC
seriously annoying when trying to play. but i don't think i've ever had a
customer report any problems with this plugin, so it's probably pretty trivial...
Comment 1 Kevin Pearsall 2005-03-29 12:11:47 UTC
slimtris also lags really really bad especially when you're playing audio.
Comment 2 Dan Sully 2005-06-28 15:43:21 UTC
Adrian - did you have a fix for this?
Comment 3 KDF 2005-06-28 22:08:28 UTC
I saw a fix for the push animation when entering slimtris, and that works.
That's the only thing I've seen metion frm Adrian. If something was put in that
I'm forgetting, then it didnt work.
Comment 4 Adrian Smith 2005-06-29 10:06:37 UTC
Sorry - didn't check for a known bug on this. Specific bug of rotating twice
should be fixed by r3555 [thanks to Robert Moser for contributing on dev list].

Kdf - do you still see the problem after this?

As for performance lags when playing. I think there would be scope to avoid
so many screen updates when the right arrow is pressed [as it redraws the
screen multiple times with no pausing when this occurs - could probably cause
audio drop outs.] What are the performance issues you are seeing?
Comment 5 KDF 2005-06-30 01:40:40 UTC
it seems it might be only a softsqueeze problem with the extra rotates. I'll
have to test that again in the morning.
Comment 6 KDF 2005-06-30 09:17:16 UTC
very definitely still over-rotates in softsqueeze. SB2 seemed fine. I didn't
test on any other hardware.
Comment 7 Adrian Smith 2005-06-30 10:58:30 UTC
Kdf - this is working for me with Softsqueeze on r3577.

What is -d_ir showing for the over rotation case - are there two executes per
key press [this was the problem I resolved with with Robert's help]
Comment 8 KDF 2005-06-30 11:27:15 UTC
s'ok now. turns out slimtris wasn't overwriting at this end. wiped and
re-ftp'd and it seems ok now. marking as fixed :)

This bug was marked resolved in Slimserver 6.1, which is several versions ago. If you're still seeing this bug, please re-open it. Thanks!
