the fast scroll letter is delivered at the menu level:

s.menu = {
                position = LAYOUT_CENTER,
                padding = { 0, 0, 0, 0 },
                itemHeight = FIVE_ITEM_HEIGHT,
                fg = {0xbb, 0xbb, 0xbb },
                font = _boldfont(250),
}

currently background treatments and positioning of the large text fastscroll letter are not supported at the menu level. Needs support at the C level to conform to UI design

Reset priority before triage.

this is an administrative shuffle on priority fields to help make better judgment on the top end of the priority list. P4->P5, P3->P4, and P2->P3.

The transparent letter is much better, won't fix this
