The music file that played slowly

Hello, I was creating an 80's explosion playlist that included a few songs from Thriller. I am using the Squeezeplay Beta client. I noticed that the Song "Beat it" was playing a little slow. I tried playing the file through a local app I use called Cog and it sounded fine. I went back to SqueezePlay and tried a different Beat It from another album and it sounded fine. The only difference between the two files that I see is that the one that played slow was 48Khz vs the other one at 44Khz. I am stumped. any ideas out there?

Squeezeplay 7.4r5723(I tried 7.3 too)
Squeezecenter Version: 7.3.2 - 24695(Ubuntu).
Thanks,
Larry

1khz square wave

We could verify the exact nature of the problem by playing this 1KHz square wave and looking at it on Ryan's oscilloscope.

this is an administrative shuffle on priority fields to help make better judgment on the top end of the priority list. P4->P5, P3->P4, and P2->P3.
