Description Bryan Alton 2009-06-11 03:11:20 UTC
With a playlist such as below as a Favorites. On Web, Squeezeplay and SB3 - pressing play will add all items to playlist and start playing (i.e. on web ther e is a play icon on RHS, on SB there is a note symbol).

On Fab4 - touching the playlisty name and user is moved into playlist and left in the playlist showing the items. The playlist doesn' play and rhere is no "Play All" option.

If the playlist file is modified such that 2nd level outline entries are removed and there is an "url=" entry pointing to another file with the outline entries. The playlist works just like web, Sb etc. interfaces.

Tom: is this one yours or Ben's to fix?
Comment 2 Blackketter Dean 2009-07-22 10:47:53 UTC
Moving to the product SqueezePlay because this bug appears to apply to any
player based on that application code. Feel free to move it back if it's
specific to the single original product.
Comment 3 Richard Titmuss 2009-07-27 01:13:55 UTC
Reset priority before triage.
Comment 4 Ben Klaas 2009-08-08 20:03:22 UTC
this bug is fab4-specific, retargetting
Comment 5 Pat Ransil 2009-08-28 10:50:13 UTC
I think this is TinySC only so I am adding the keyword. Change if this is not correct.
Comment 6 Ben Klaas 2009-08-28 11:01:03 UTC
Not TinySC specific
Comment 7 Weldon Matt 2009-10-06 14:38:17 UTC
I think this is by design? I assume you're talking about a user playlist (i.e. my music -> playlists -> [playlist name]) and not the "current playlist" (the now playing queue).

The new "press-to-play" behavior should work as follows:

-pressing the playlist item should take you into the playlist
-pressing item x inside the playlist should:
  - clear the "current playlist"
  - add all items from the playlist into the "current playlist"
  - begin playing track x
  - ff would skip to track x+1, etc.

please correct me if I'm misunderstanding the bug
Comment 8 Bryan Alton 2009-10-06 15:59:54 UTC
No I am talking about an OPML playlist which is not a user playlist.

The same playlist behave differently depending if it is constructed using a one or 2 files - it should behave the same way. Did you try out the file I suggested.
Comment 9 Chris Owens 2010-01-04 16:00:18 UTC
Changing priorities due to management guidance.
Comment 10 Chris Owens 2010-03-08 11:30:23 UTC
Moving lower-priority bugs to next target
Comment 11 Ben Klaas 2011-01-14 09:10:46 UTC
this bug needs reassessment for both target and assignee
Comment 12 Alan Young 2011-11-06 23:23:36 UTC
Unassigned bugs cannot have a priority.
