The .bb file of libid3 as at the beginning: PV = "svnr${SRCREV}" PR = "r13" which when compared to NOTE: checking PREFERRED_PROVIDER_libid3tag-svnrINVALID-r13 suggests ${SRCREV} has the value INVALID. poky/meta/conf/bitbake.conf has: SRCREV = "INVALID" Is something supposed to be setting this variable to something valid at some later stage?
Andrew, I'll assign this to Richard -- but honestly I'm not sure if he has the time to help out with the problem. We've seen it here on occasion but a clean checkout has solved it.
Andrew are you still having this problem?
I think this one is fixed. I wiped my complete tree, made a fresh checkout, and got a completely different set of bugs, which i've entered here. After that, i basically gave up after too much frustration.
This is a bug that we've seen somewhat randomly -- but tends to have to do with a bad cache or bad checkout. For now, closing this since we've never seen any actual configuration problems that caused this.
