Head and tail of a massive log file.

I don't really know the source of these errors. 7.3 works fine, but twice now on my large music collection, I've had to switch from 7.4 back to 7.3 because of the massive log problem. Sorry I haven't had time to look into it and figure out what's really going on.

But, here's the head and the tail of the log file. This logfile is over 1 gig, so there may be some important stuff I'm missing in the middle.

Oh yeah, by the way, the all squeezeboxes become useless, though I don't know if it's because my disk is full or because it's busy spewing out logs. Could be a combination.

This is related to some bug with remote URL scanning. If you can figure out how to trigger it that would be very useful.
Comment 4 Caleb Crome 2009-06-09 23:13:13 UTC
I'm sure I'll be able to trigger it again. This isn't the first time. I'll try to pay attention.
Comment 5 Caleb Crome 2009-06-11 15:58:49 UTC
Okay, I triggered it again.

Now what?

:-)

It seems to be related to some of my podcast streams, which I get from here:

http://crome.org/podcasts/index.php

Try putting that URL into your podcast feeds, and clicking around into those podcasts. Perhaps it can be reproduced there.

I'm going to do some testing when I get home to see if my issue is the same. In my case, RT streams (I only tested a few) cause problems 100% of the time when running SC noweb-sqlite. My be a different bug.
Comment 7 Andy Grundman 2009-06-15 11:11:27 UTC
I think Alan has fixed this with some changes to the remote scanner.
