Is it possible to give some audible feedback during menu navigation on a Boom? Bug 4240 notes that the SB2/3 cannot produce any sound (excl. test tone). Would it be possible with the Boom hardware? Every simple click or buzz sound as a feedback of an entered command (keypress) could already help visually impaired to navigate in the complex menu structure we already have.

The discussion came up with new blind Boom users:

SqueezeOS products have this feature, I don't know if IP3K can or not.

I do not have a controller available, but I've tried the Squeezplay to simulate and it "sounds" good. Different sounds if you can move forward/backward or not. This sounds would be a great enhancement for the Boom.

Just to note, I'm not visually impaired, a blind forum member asked me to file this enhancement request.
