Description James Richardson 2009-06-04 14:55:12 UTC
Attempting to play a 24Bit 96kHz WAV file will cause the device to crash and reboot
Attempting to play a 20kBit 22kHz file will result in no audio
Attempting to play a 16Bit 22kHz file will result in audio pop at the beginning of the track, about 30sec into track playback will stop
Comment 1 Richard Titmuss 2009-07-14 12:17:10 UTC
The pop when changing sample rates is covered by bug 12819.

WAV files seem to be working fine here with r6548. I have tested a 24/96 and 16/48 files, and they both played for fully.

I don't see support for 20 bit files in the code, does that work on ip3k, and if so is it transcoded.
Comment 2 Richard Titmuss 2009-07-14 12:19:03 UTC
heh, having checked the logs wav is by default transcoded to flac. So I was really testing transcoded flac. Is that what you were doing? Do you test native wav playback?
