Description Blackketter Dean 2009-06-04 12:40:18 UTC
Yesterday I saw if I shined a flashlight into the ambient light sensor, it would wrap around some calculations to 65535 and think we were at zero lux.

Also, I saw in a very dark environment (where the two sensors were bouncing around zero) that the lux calculation wrapped around to 65535 or so and the screen lit up and woke up my wife. :)

These are marked as CAT, yet that milestone is over now. Please re-target accordingly.
Comment 2 James Richardson 2009-08-19 11:24:21 UTC
Re-Testing with latest firmware, I don't see the negative numbers now. The display stops at '0'

Dean: can you retest this?
Comment 3 Pat Ransil 2009-09-08 16:42:21 UTC
Looks like Dean did not get to retest. If QA cant reproduce, mark as 'works for me'

Comment from Raphael:
Bug 12264:
I played around with a flash light in automatic brightness mode but didn't see the effect Dean describes.
Possibly something to do with a later Hardware revision or already fixed since it is an old bug as well? (I have HW Revision 1 here)
