Description Jim McAtee 2009-06-04 01:05:46 UTC
Selecting either Pandora or Rhapsody if there are no accounts set up in SN (I'm assuming that's the indirect cause) results in an endless spinny, requiring a reboot.
Comment 1 Jim McAtee 2009-06-04 19:58:05 UTC
More information...

Following a factory reset, connected to mysqueezebox.com:

- The first time selecting either service, I see a message regarding setting up an account for the service on SN

- Back out to Home and the next try will hang the SBT

Following a reboot, connected to mysqueezebox.com:

- The first time I get the same friendly message as above

- Back out to Home and the next try always hangs Pandora, Rhapsody is better and will continue to show the message

If SBT is connected to the local server:

- Hangs with an endless spinny every time

I also have both of these plugins disabled on the local SC server. Maybe that's the indirect cause, rather than not being set up on SqueezeNetwork.
Comment 3 Andy Grundman 2009-07-14 18:29:21 UTC
I can't reproduce this. If the problem is because the plugins are disabled, that'll be fixed when we properly implement the App Gallery (you won't get the default items on your menu).
Comment 4 Andy Grundman 2009-07-29 14:26:29 UTC
Will be fixed by app setup.

Please re-test Pandora, it has new account setup menus now.
Comment 6 Jim McAtee 2009-08-05 20:04:39 UTC
Does some particular branch of the server need to be used? I have everything connected to 7.4 trunk currently.
Comment 7 Andy Grundman 2009-08-05 20:06:18 UTC
Yes, either connect to fab4 SN or use the fab4 build (or change SN hostname to fab4).
Comment 8 Jim McAtee 2009-08-05 21:00:29 UTC
Ok, I edited SqueezeNetwork.pm to point to fab4.sn.com. If I have the plugins loaded on the local server then I get account setup menus for each of them, but if the plugins are not loaded then the menu item just beeps and does nothing, not even a bump.

Rhapsody generic menus are now in place, I consider this fixed.
