Bugzilla – Bug 12235
SC crashes on directories without read/execute (in unix permissions world)
Last modified: 2009-10-05 14:27:33 UTC
[09-05-29 10:57:58.7725] File::Next::__ANON__ (212) Warning: /home/mp3/mserv/mp3/Misc/SongPoemV4/spam04_artwork: Permission denied at /usr/share/squeezecenter/CPAN/File/Next.pm line 212. 2009-05-29 10:57:58 SqueezeCenter died. Restarting. Changing permissions on the directory lets SC run, but I can't use directory permissions to "hide" things from SC.
Does this work in 7.3.3?
(In reply to comment #1) > Does this work in 7.3.3? It used to. I had several directories that were unreadable by SC (some were chmod 0, some were just 700 owned by me) and they broke with the SQLite branch change on 7.4. (no idea why Find::Next is being called at that point in the code)
Hrrm this seems to be fixed with the latest nightly. (I know you've been coding a ton in that section of code, so one of the other changes there must have fixed it... marking as resolved since I can no longer break it.)
