I fired up my new hardware tonight.

I used the touch screen to enter the wireless details. It connected, downloaded new firmware and rebooted.

Then I used the remote and it went into remote skin mode - big fonts. Oh, where's the nice on-screen keyboard, I thought? I touched the screen and it went back to the smaller skin, but still no keyboard. I then went "back" and forward and the keyboard re-appeared.

(This was while entering my squeezenetwork details).

This is kind of a dup, but I'll leave it open as a dependent on the main bug since it's a different manifestation of the same issue.
