Description Jim McAtee 2009-05-27 16:00:06 UTC
There is no 'stop' button in the touch ui, so the best anyone can do is 'pause'. But when paused, the stopped screensaver never kicks in - the display remains in the NP screen/saver forever.

Hmm. Prior to seeing this bug, I just paused a Last.fm station. The NP title bar said "stopped" not "paused" and the "stopped" screensaver kicked in. Maybe this is dependent on the source being played?

Like on the Classic UI, for the purposes of screensavers, we use the term "Stopped Screensaver" to mean the screensaver used when the device is on and not playing (i.e. paused or stopped).

You should be able to do a full stop with a press hold on the pause button or a touch hold on the icon. That work isn't in there yet, but it's on Tom's plate, right Tom?

This is working now. Probably was a side-effect of some other NP problem.
