Description Alice Shimmin 2005-03-28 00:57:43 UTC
When in Browse Music by Album the server crashed when I went to display an
Album whose name was '* ' this resulted in a server crash. The event log
entry is below

The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( Application ) cannot be found.
The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message
DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information
is part of the event: can't calculate string for * Jill Sobule *
at /PerlApp/Slim/Buttons/BrowseID3.pm line 492.

Alice - have you tried 6.0? It shouldn't crash there.

The behavior of that entry will be strange though.

Please refer to bug 55

This Slimserver bug was fixed a very long time ago, and is now being marked as Closed. If you're still experiencing this issue, please verify you are running a current version of Slimserver and re-open the bug.

Routine bug db maintenance; removing old versions which cause confusion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
