screenshot of artwork issue

Artwork was working perfectly until 5/15 7.4 nightly build. Now roughly 1/3 of artwork no longer displays in browser, via iPeng (on ipod touch) or via ProntoSqueeze (on pronto remote). Artwork errors inconsistent - will be browsing songs in an album or playlist and they'll display correctly, and upon refresh artwork gone (results in browser "?" error box, not the generic music icon that used to appear when missing artwork - see attached).

additional note: most files in AIFF format, some files Apple Lossless. In all cases, every file has embedded artwork in its tags.

Andy: looks like an error in the iTunes scripts, is this yours to address?
Comment 6 geoff clark 2009-05-27 05:35:24 UTC
Just an fyi that I rolled back with a clean install to 7.3.2 and artwork functioning perfectly, and for now I'm going to stick with this build. hope the itunes issues get resolved in the beta smoothly.
thanks

Still an issue? If so, please attach a file where artwork is not scanned properly.

Ping.
Comment 9 geoff clark 2009-06-15 17:23:34 UTC
Hi Andy - let me reinstall 7.4 nightly and see if it works. I had
moved back to 7.3.3 because of a number of issues that were affecting
me including this one which was the most significant.
Thanks,
Geoff

Moving all SQLite-related bugs to 8.0.
Comment 11 David Myers 2009-09-30 13:04:26 UTC
I don't see artwork for ALAC files with the final 7.4. It was fine under 7.3.X. The artwork is embedded and I'm not using iTunes with SBS. Instead I see the new "blank CD" graphic.

Most of my music files are FLAC with external image files, but I also have many MP3 files with embedded images, and these all appear correctly.
