Description Moonbase 2009-05-20 00:37:45 UTC
To ease transition and debugging, SC should show the database engine used and its port number in the "Settings/Information" screen of the Web UI and also in the server.log file.
Comment 1 Moonbase 2009-05-20 00:39:08 UTC
... and the database engine's version.
Comment 2 Jim McAtee 2009-05-20 20:12:17 UTC
SQLite doesn't have a port number.

For MySQL based servers, it would also be useful to many of us if the database name could be logged.

This information should be logged at startup, either within the same line, or immediately after "Starting SqueezeCenter (v...)".

Be handy if this info was available over the CLI too.. Is it already somewhere as a pref value ?
Comment 4 Andy Grundman 2009-07-29 14:59:09 UTC
Moving 7.4 bugs to 8.0.
