To get to this setting in iTunes, follow the steps below.

1. Pick a file
2. Go to the "Get Info" section for that file
3. Go to the "Options" tab

Here you can set the "Playback Position" for a specific file. Depending on what you set that to, you can skip parts of a song.

A user would like for us to support or respect this part of the file.

Slight correction: I was not referring to 'Playback Position". I was referring to "Start and Stop Times".

Once on the options page, I can set the stop or start time in order to get rid of applause or non-musical introductions. Unfortunately, only playback on my iMac computer picks up these changes - not my Transporter or SB Classics.

I can always delete the track and import it with the truncated times but that is very time consuming and in order to make changes, I have to delete the track again. It would be great for the server to pick up the start and stop information.

Thanks.
