ReadyNas 1100 090509-002034 Log file

Ticket 090509-002034

SqueezeCenter 7.3.2/7.3.3
Netgear ReadNas 1100
Pix 505 firewall

Symptom:

Customer cannot play Music Services or Internet Radio through SqueezeCenter running on ReadyNas 1100.

Customer states have never gotten this to work.
-Customer can connect directly to to SqueezeNetwork with Transporter and Duet, and it will play fine

Troubleshooting;

-Clean install of SqueezeCenter 7.3.2 and 7.3.3 - issue still exists

-Customer has had his network admin allow all ports through PIX 505

****Had customer install SqueezeCenter on a computer, and it works fine****

Issue only occurs when trying to stream via SqueezeCenter and his ReadyNAS 1100

Per Steven, creating a bug. Please see attached log file.

LaRon

Laron: Can you get the user to enable loggig for InternetRadio (set) then attach the log file to this bug.

Would be good to get a 'clean' log. I.E. delete existing log(s) before replicating error

I'm not sure what this means, if anything: I changed the security setting on the NAS from SHARE to USER.

Behaviorally, the problem still exists. However, the "streaming" attempt seems to go for much longer than the 25 or so seconds that prior attempts ran before the change on the NAS. Could be something, could be nothing.

If somebody will give me specific step-by-step instructions, I'd be happy to do this.

The attached log file is filled with DNS errors. this would indicate a Network issue.

Please upgrade to SBS 7.4.1 then try your test again. You will need to perform a Clean Install, follow the wiki instructions here: http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/SqueezeCenter_on_ReadyNAS

If you have problems or question performing the clean install, please contact support for assistance.

After installing 7.4.1 please re-test this issue, if you are able to replicate please reopen the bug.
