Description Dan Evans 2009-05-13 15:51:10 UTC
To make gathering logs from a customer easier, I propose adding UI to the new Control Panel to select the logging set to capture. (currently found in Settings > Advanced > Logging) With the rescan function moved to the Control Panel, this is a logical fit.
Comment 1 Dan Evans 2009-05-13 15:54:27 UTC
I also propose additional UI to this same section that would allow the user to capture the log and email that log to Support with a click of a button.

Just making sure Matt is cc'ed on all of these, per his email request.

Dan, can you refresh my memory regarding the actual set of preference options? I.e. what are they?
Comment 4 Weldon Matt 2009-06-01 15:31:11 UTC
Please refer to lates 8.0 wireframes: http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/SqueezeCenter_Control_Panel#Advanced

Please use drop-down options from the very top of the screen in Settings > Advanced > Logging of the web UI.

By default, drop-down should say "Default Settings" (text replaces "reset loggin preferences" but behavior should be the same). Other settings should be "Internet Radio," "Music Scanner," "Server," and "Transcoder."

Log sets are implemented and ready to be tested on Windows.

OSX to be done.
