It would look "prettier".  Currently aligns to the left.

Does this even apply anymore?  I don't remember seeing the "Display Artwork" menu option in quite a while...or is this related to some other function (i.e. touch artwork in Now Playing" will show it in fullscreen, etc..)

the "Show Artwork" item is still valid and used, yes. It shows up in the track context menu (touch-hold on a track or hit + when on a track via IR remote)

should be an easy skin fix when I get to it...
