Description Philip Meyer 2009-05-09 08:53:06 UTC
I use SBT to control a Boom player.

I was playing music on the Boom player.
SBT power cable was unplugged.
I plugged the SBT in, and it tried to reconnect to the Boom player.
When it connected, the Boom player stopped playing music.

Reset priority before triage.

No longer able to replicate this, trying recent FW (r7172)

I tried it again, and whilst music didn't stop, the SBT didn't connect to the player correctly. It showed the player name, but then when I navigated to the NP screen, it reported an empty playlist.

It took a couple of extra minutes before the Now Playing screen reported what was actually playing.

SBT usually controls a Boom, playing music from local SbS.
I had SBT unplugged (becuase "When off" screensaver isn't working - it's getting confused with "When stopped").
I was playing music on a Boom.

Plugged in SBT.
Home menu showed not many options - it wasn't connected to anything.
A minute later it connected to local SbS, and reported the correct player name.
I went to NP - it reported that nothing was playing, playlist was empty.
A couple of minutes later, the NP screen finally updated to display the music that was playing.

This needs to happen a bit quicker.
