Description tritid-t7 2009-05-02 01:06:48 UTC
I just installed 7.3.3 beta on my Windows Home Server. The controllers tell me there is an upgrade but then the upgrade fails.

A Boom on the same WIFI netwrok has upgraded correctly from 43 to 45.

Best
Alain

Alain: can you go to the /cache directory and verify which version of 7.3.3 firmware is located there please
Comment 2 James Richardson 2009-05-02 07:19:20 UTC
Also, what version of firmware is currently on your controller
Comment 3 tritid-t7 2009-05-02 08:03:03 UTC
James,

thanks for your quick response.

Where should I look for the /cache directory.

Current version of controller is r3993.

I think I found the /cache under Documents and Settings\All users\Application Data\Squeezecenter\Cache

I can see a file named jive_7.3_r5225.bin

Is this what you need?
Comment 5 James Richardson 2009-05-02 08:29:56 UTC
Yes, please restart your server, then check that same location again. r5225 is an older version, we need to get you to r5549.
Comment 6 tritid-t7 2009-05-02 09:49:06 UTC
Thanks, the cache was upgraded to 5549 after restart and now the controllers update fine.

Thanks a lot for this fantastic response time.
