Bugzilla – Bug 11892
Control Panel does not open via SqueezeTray icon
Last modified: 2009-10-05 14:37:07 UTC
Double-clicking on the tray icon, or selecting "Open Control Panel" both fail to actually open the Control Panel. I have been seeing this for the last week or two. Currently on build 26171. LaRon pointed out to me that the Control Panel _will_ open if you run it explicitly from Start > Programs > SqueezeCenter > Squeezebox Control Panel. So it appears the problem is only in the tray icon launching it.
Per your questions, Michael ... * I see this on a VMware WinXP (SP2) with no A/V and no Firewall software. * I see this on another WinXP system (SP2) with Norton A/V and no Firewall software. * I see this at home with WinXP (SP?) with AVG A/V and no Firewall software. There is never an error message.
change 26253 - fix finding the control panel binary from the tray icon.
Tested build 26264 (4/29). CP opens now using menu item "Open Control Panel" and also if you double-click on tray icon.
