Description Michael Herger 2009-04-22 01:13:56 UTC
I know it's not our translation. But it's our product which is looking bad. We should help them get decent translations for their menus.

Eg. for DE
"Top Shows" -> "Top Zeigt"
"Decades" -> "Jahrzehntelang"
"Latin" -> "Latein" (which is the old Roman latin language, not what we also refer to as Latin music)
all lowercase

Can't say whether it's DE only. But we might want to review these.

QA needs to file a bug with RadioTime. Matt, can you track this?
Comment 2 Matt Cuson 2009-04-22 17:01:06 UTC
Let's have Bugzilla track it. QA posts bug with Radiotime with our bug number as part of the comments.

I'll forward this bug link to them too.

It would be great if there was somebody there with an email address that we could assign the bug to.

A RadioTime translator will review German immediately following a release planned for early the week around April 28th
Comment 5 Michael Herger 2009-04-28 07:27:54 UTC
Thanks Bill. Please let me know if I can help you with the German (French seems to be better)

Michael: Can you verify that these have been addressed

Can't find "Top Zeigen" any more, but others are still there.

"Decades" -> "Epochen", "Zeitabschnitte", "Jahrzehnte"
"Latin" -> just "Latin", don't translate
Comment 8 James Richardson 2009-10-06 13:05:51 UTC
Email from Bill @ radiotime indicates theses issues have been addressed on their end.
