Description James Richardson 2009-04-21 09:53:05 UTC
There is no way for the user to select a different Radio Market if they don't like the GEO forced one that SN picks for them.

If the customer happens to live in one city, yet their ISP is reporting them in a Different city, then the Internet Radio list is populated with their ISP city.

There is no way for the user to 'fine tune' or select a different home city for Radio.

If you enter an RT username in SN, it will use whatever the zip code is for that account, right? IMO, the confusing thing for new users is that it is not clear that Internet Radio = Radiotime.

Mark: what if the customer doesn't have or doesn't want to create a specific account for radio time?

We removed the 'zip code' box, so users can no longer use that fine tune as an option.

Either they are forced to GEO code of ISP or they create yet another account on yet another service that they may or may not want.

Also, I aggee with your statement that it is VERY confusing to the customer, all they know is this is how my SqueezeBox is working. Not that the back end provider is RadioTime

They have to create a RT account to do this.
