Description Mickey Gee 2009-04-20 15:20:14 UTC
To be a good open source citizen, it would be best to acknowledge use of all open source modules we use. The suggestion is to add it in our About screen. This would probably be at the bottom of the screen.

Here's a list of the ones for SqueezePlay that should be added for Fab4:

Flac
FreeFonts
FreeType
LibJPEG
libmad
LibPNG
Loop
Lua
LuaExpat
Lua File System
LuaJSON
LuaLogging
LuaProfiler
LuaSocket
PortAudio
Slunicode
SDL
SDL gfx
SDL image
SDL ttf
toLua++
Tremor

Mickey: I think we'll need more details on what specifically we need to say about each package, what license they use, etc, who the copyright belongs to.

Feel free to attach a draft of the final text for review.

Moving to the product SqueezePlay because this bug appears to apply to any player based on that application code. Feel free to move it back if it's specific to the original product.

This probably should be on the web somewhere and not in the product. Dean's right, we need to include specific license text, etc for each product not just a list.

Deferring for now. Let's sort it out later.
