Where did all the seconds go

CAT PR-0088

I noticed today that where the time is shown on the screen of the device that the seconds display is partially truncated.

Play any source that is greater then 1:00:00 in lentgh. Time will be cut off on both LEFT and RIGHT side of counter.

See attached

James- Can you site examples of areas during normal usage that track lengths extend beyond 99 minutes?
Comment 2 James Richardson 2009-07-17 09:22:55 UTC
1) POD casts
2) Streaming Radio Stations
3) Now Playing Information = Elapsed Time
4) FLAC file where the whole Album has been encoded as a single track (Especially Classical or Opera or Musical Show Tunes)
Comment 3 ndijulio 2009-07-17 09:31:48 UTC
James,

From your list #4 FLAC files would be the only case where it is potential to have X:XX:XX.

#1-3 - have different templates where we only display Elapsed Time. For these cases we should have the ability to display as many characters as needed.
Comment 4 ndijulio 2009-07-17 09:33:26 UTC
A simple fix would be to scale down the text to fit when characters are added.

Ben-Is scaling the text for track progress an option?

Moving to the product SqueezePlay because this bug appears to apply to any player based on that application code. Feel free to move it back if it's specific to the original product.
Comment 6 Ben Klaas 2009-07-23 14:06:59 UTC
Ben to investigate dynamically ramping the font size down when time on either side exceeds 59:59
