Description Mickey Gee 2009-04-10 23:26:45 UTC
I assisted a CAT tester who had issues with their fab4.sn.com account. It had been newly created with a player associated with it but somehow the account was not activated. It was hard to tell if the user had received the activation e-mail or not, or had reset his password to cause something odd to occur.

Can someone in QA verify that all is OK with this process? It probably is, but since it's hard to discern what the tester really did it's hard to know what transpired.

Correct: New accounts created via Fab4 are not 'auto' activated. The users will still receive an activation email, that they must click on to activate the account.

I have verified that the account creation is working, but can not verify the 'spec' as I could not find it

Shouldn't accounts be auto-activated for 30 days (or whatever?)

This isn't how it works on production afaik and we certainly aren't telling anybody to activate their account.

Yes, it's treated the same as if you created the account from the web.
