Description Mikkel Herold 2009-04-05 14:24:10 UTC
I just tried to upgrade SqueezeCenter on my Synology DS107+ using SSODS. Installation goes fine, but after that, SqueezeCenter won't start.

This is the error message I see on the screen:

------------------------------------
Starting SqueezeCenter 7.4-25811 (stay tuned) ..locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory
locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory
locale: Cannot set LC_COLLATE to default locale: No such file or directory
... FAILED!

The log file might reveal the reason for the failure.

SqueezeCenter 7.4-25811 is not running and SqueezeCenter's MySQL is not running.

------------------------------------

The server log has these entries:

------------------------------------

------------------------------------

I don't know if the problem is with the installation file or with SSODS.

How did you install? This looks like messages from a broken merge on some file. Are you updating using svn? Then this might happen if you had local changes which conflict with a change in the repository.

Will do. As I said, I couldn't tell whether this was a SC problem or a problem with my setup.
