Using "Copying Update" as ref. the bottom grayed out progress ticks should be shown as soon as the Title text and down arrow icon come on screen.  Once the update begins the ( )% supporting text and ticks marks should begin to animate.

I should add that '0%' is displayed when the server connection for downloading the firmware is established. This is important feedback for those in the know, as errors before the %age appears are due to server connection failure, after it's a transfer error.
