Description lucmichaud1 2009-04-01 11:17:48 UTC
Both my partner and I experience sound cutting off after 2-3 days of continuous plsying with the Squeeze center open in Internet Explorer.

My partner being a programmer, he found that the computer resources were gradually being used up by the running of Sqeeze center, to the point that it interfered with network operation, thus the music stops.

Nothing like that happens if the music is played with Sqeeze box or transporter with the Sqeeze center not opened in IE.

Which version of IE are you running?

Can you download and try the latest night beta of 7.3.3 to see if the same thing happens with that version? http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.3

I am using IE &, same with my partner.

Did you work to solve this specifically this in SC 7.3.3 or this is juste a wild guess ?

I have not seen or experienced any memory leakage with Windows Vista and IE 7 on my test rig.

I'm asking you to verify that the same behavior is experienced in the latest beta, because I am unable to replicate your experience.

Can you please have your partner provide logs, showing us where the memory leak is? then our engineers can work on addressing the issue.

Are you using some kind of security suite which hooks into IE? Eg. "Privacy protection" or similar? Additional toolbars or other add-ons?
