Description Dennis Mutsaers 2009-04-01 10:49:34 UTC
The 'play+hold' funtion to start a MusicIP and/or Dynamic Playlist doesn't work.
Squeezecenter: 7.4 - 25762 @ Wed Apr 1 01:27:06 PDT 2009
Controller: 7.4 r4824
Comment 1 Dennis Mutsaers 2009-04-04 23:42:17 UTC
If I look in the log files I can see the following references to the play+hold action. Are they correct?

play.hold => dead

[playHoldAction] = [go]

Tom, I'm assigning this your way, but maybe we can work together on a fix. My guess is that the issue arose from the changes to action/event handling that have been made in 7.4/trunk.
Comment 4 Dennis Mutsaers 2009-04-05 08:31:40 UTC
I've installed SqueezeScrobbler, MusicIP, Dynamic Playlists & SugaCube. I thought that when several plug-ins use the same function, i.e. play+hold, a menu should appear to be able to choose the function you want.
Comment 5 Ben Klaas 2009-04-05 08:45:46 UTC
Dennis, as a test if you can step down your mixers to 1 (e.g., leave only MusicIP enabled), that will be a good data point to have.
Comment 6 Dennis Mutsaers 2009-04-05 11:25:25 UTC
With only MusicIP enabled it still doesn't work...
Comment 7 Wadzinski Tom 2009-04-06 13:36:30 UTC
fixed in r5202
Comment 8 Dennis Mutsaers 2009-04-07 08:48:01 UTC
Where can I get r5202?
Comment 9 Ben Klaas 2009-04-07 11:40:54 UTC
I'm afraid you'll have to wait until the next "nightly" gets pushed out, which sadly are not nightly at all right now because our automated qualification system is broken.

QA needs to manually qualify a 7.4 controller firmware for release to the beta community. Assigning to them...
Comment 10 Ben Klaas 2009-04-07 12:08:43 UTC
reopening until new 7.4 firmware is pushed out to beta community
Comment 11 James Richardson 2009-04-07 14:03:08 UTC
Marking as 7.4 Fixed, QA has qualified r5226 for release to beta, please verify with this version or later. if you still see the issue, reopen the bug and comment as needed.

QA will also validate the fix during the validation phase

Well,

The MusicIP mixer is present now, but none of the other mixers are present, i.e. Dynamic Playlist.. Can you have multiple mixers active at the same time?
