Description kabmorgan 2009-03-31 01:26:29 UTC
Just say on my SBC I've selected a playlist called "Relaxing Instrumentals". While listening I browse my library and add a track. I now wish to save the modified playist under the same name. I select save and get presented with a blank line into which I have to type/select,

R-e-l-a-x-i-n-g- -I-n-s-t-r-u-m-e-n-t-a-l-s .....again

Gets a bit tedious after the first ten times ;)

Please include the more usual choices of
"Save" and
"Save as"

Thanks

Keith

who is this under squeezeplay it applies to the controller to ?
Comment 2 Chris Owens 2009-05-04 09:10:33 UTC
Ben notes that the root problem is that you can't edit an existing playlist on the controller. He and Tom further suggest one fix would be that we store the last playlist loaded, and make that the default save name.

Moving to the product SqueezePlay because this bug appears to apply to any player based on that application code. Feel free to move it back if it's specific to the original product.

The fix here is to prepopulate the text entry field with the existing name. So in kabmorgan's case, when he/she clicks "save playlist," the text entry screen would read "Relaxing Instrumentals," with the cursor location at the end (using the new design changes for text entry we're putting into 7.4.)

Removing "SLT" tag since no new text is needed for this bug.

this is an administrative shuffle on priority fields to help make better judgment on the top end of the priority list. P4->P5, P3->P4, and P2->P3.

7.4.x milestone is in the past
