Description Blackketter Dean 2009-03-29 17:19:20 UTC
Let's change the "Choose Connection Type" screen to be entitled

"Network Connection Type"

Also, let's add this supporting text:

"Select the way you connect to your home network".

Finally, let's change "Wired" to "Wired Ethernet".

--------------------

Finally, Matt, based on Richard's field test, should we drop this screen and assume wireless if there's no ethernet or wired if there is?

I think we're committed to this screen being here at this point (it's in the QSG, I still think it's helpful to include it for several reasons, and a lot of other steps would have to be amended if we remove this screen).

Dean read my mind on the copy though. This is pretty much the exact text I would have written on my own.

After "final" deliberation with Dean, the text choice is to to use the same language we have on the boom (we've had it for months, it's already localized, and we haven't really been getting complaints about it):

"Choose Network Type" (title)

"Connect to Ethernet Network"

"Connect to Wireless Network"

No supporting text is needed in this case...

Matt: you need to assign this back to the person who can fix it once you've done your part...

Fixed in r5034.
