Description Julius Dauz 2009-03-27 14:06:17 UTC
According to the Player Menu tab in Squeezenetwork, there are players connected to an account. But once you go to the home screen of an SN account and click on the Choose Player drop down menu, there are no players to choose from. Nothing is in the list at all.

Screen shots attached.

Do they eventually show up after a minute or so? Does a browser refresh help?
Comment 4 James Richardson 2009-03-30 08:08:57 UTC
I have seen this a few times on FireFox 3. Closing the browser and relaunching it cleared up the issue.

Julius: What browser version are you seeing this on? Is this repeatable on a specific user or in general?
Comment 5 Julius Dauz 2009-03-31 09:26:45 UTC
I am seeing this issue on my MAC and PC using the following browser.

Mac Safari: Version 2.0.4 (419.3)
Mac Firefox: v2.0.0.4

Window IE: v6
Windows Firefox:v2.0.0.16

Unfortunately, I did not get this info from the customer because I was able to reproduce it. But I can call the customer if necessary.

I am able to verify, that the customers account [rechesr@aol.com] is not functioning properly.
Comment 7 Julius Dauz 2009-03-31 12:42:58 UTC
I just worked with this customer again and am witnessing some strange behavior.

I had the customer perform a factory reset on the Duet then I deleted the Duet from the SN account.

We we got to a point where I added the player PIN to the SN account and it looked as though, according to the Players Tab, that both units were in fact associated to and connected to the account, but the Controller timed out stating Problem Connecting: Couldn't connect your Squeezebox to Squeezenetwork.

We went through a series of factory resets but could not get the customer's Duet (In the office) connected to the SN account again. The customer also has other Squeezebox products in a different location that I have not been able to ask about.

I did a test with the customer and had her create a new account and just connect the Duet in the office to the new account. The new account worked perfectly and she was able to control the office Receiver from either the SN interface or the Controller.

Punting to next release.

Punting bugs that won't make it for the next release.

Julius - is this still an issue?
