After running r4940 and doing a factory reset to test setup, once connected to a wireless network an interstial screen appears with the text "Connecting to Controller," w/ a spinning widget.  The screen spins for a significant amount of time and times out.

r4875 is the current firmware we are testing with, I'll load up 4940 to verify this error.

Noah: are you able to reproduce this?  Can you get a screen capture for us.

This may be similar to a problem we see intermittently.  After a factory reset, the FAB4 will prompt the user to choose a player, when it shouldn't.

I wasn't able to see the exact same issue you described here with either r4875, r4940 or r4990.  However, I did see (1 of 15 tries) the prompt to 'Choose Player' right after connecting to the network.
