Description Keith Jolley 2005-03-21 12:46:41 UTC
I have 3 albums by Placebo in my collection - all MP3s correctly tagged with
artist 'Placebo'. I also have one album on which Placebo play a single track
which has 'Nick Kent' in the composer field. The artist for all Placebo tracks
is now being displayed as 'Nick Kent', whether I browse by artist or search.
Even using live search, typing 'Plac' actually brings up Nick Kent, and clicking
this link returns the Placebo albums.

While the server is performing an initial scan, I can search for these tracks
and they are correctly identified. Once the server scans the one file with the
composer tag set as Nick Kent, however, all the tracks by Placebo are returned
with Nick Kent as the artist.

I'm using 6.0b3 (2005-03-21), but I first spotted it on the 2005-03-15 nightly
(which was about the time I added the offending track).

Checked in a fix to the problem. It should appear in the 1/2/05 nightly build at
http://www.slimdevices.com/downloads/nightly/latest/6.1/.
