On both of my Fab4 I managed to get the reset button stuck by using a pointed device to press it (i.e. ball-point pen).

On one unit it now is enough to touch the screen in front left lower corner to initiate a reset.

On the newer unit reset is now permanently pressed.

Never had to use a pointed object to press mine, just the pad of my finger.  If anything, the button is a little too "proud" of the housing and I would be concerned about it being accidentally pressed whenever the device is handled.

We'll need to resolve this with fred, a bug isn't going to help here.
