for example what if you would like the full screen background visualizer but
without progress bar (only timer), or if you wanted buffer status and the
background visualizer...

maybe discrete options in the web interface for progress indication and
visualization would work best for this.  from the remote, simple options should
still be ok.

Is this going to be possible for 6.0.0?  Or push to 6.0.1?
