Description Remy Bohmer 2009-03-19 13:04:12 UTC
The system name is doing strange things on rev4864.

It displays on the top 'unnamed' and when I scroll the menu, it sometimes switches to 'function: 0x7d8ae0'.
So,I tried to set the system name... That works, but the backspace key works really strange in that menu to remove the old name.

Remy: is this still a problem for you?

I have not yet seen it on rev4875... But I cannot tell if it is really solved.
When I see it again, I will inform you about it.

I have seen this happen, when the player name is set to null in SqueezeNetwork

Andy, is there a way to trap for no player name?
Comment 4 Andy Grundman 2009-04-01 09:32:59 UTC
The name is always set when you first connect, I think this is fixed.
Comment 5 James Richardson 2009-04-01 09:51:33 UTC
what happens if someone removes the name and makes it null?
Comment 6 James Richardson 2009-04-01 09:52:17 UTC
We should not allow null name field
