Proposal for different platforms (with varying screen formats)to filter the images according to the aspect ratio.  For instance, on fab4 only landscape images would appear on the screensaver.

Because this limits the amount of content that can be displayed, another option is to rotate the images 90degrees and add black boxes on either side to fit the screen's aspect ratio.
