Progress bar - gradient scaling
Last modified: 2009-09-08 09:23:12 UTC
Created attachment 4911 [details] Ref artwork 1 - 5% The artwork for the progress bar is not correct. The gradient is not scaling properly and the white ruled line for alert screens is too small. Please see attached artwork for reference.
Created attachment 4912 [details] Ref artwork 2 - 75%
Created attachment 4913 [details] Ref artwork - 3 (no supporting text/no white progres bar line)
Correct size for white progress_bar_line.png = 1x10 pixels
We need this fixed for MP for the firmware update.
I'm pushing this one Richard's way. I don't think we support the stretch behavior in the slider required for this to work as intended.
I don't understand why the progress bar is so thin. This has been commented on by several of the testers in the beta forum. It looks completely out of proportion given the screen height.
We can't support the gradient scaling as it is specified at the moment. I can implement that this week, but it's not clear that the progress bar is going to stay like this after the "steering commitee UI guidelines" were sent out last week. So I only want to make this change if we are committed to the progress bar with gradient scaling, otherwise it's a waste of time. Dean?
Noah is looking at this again, given the new graphics direction from SmartDesign. Look for a simplified graphic.

Noah, you can close these yourself.
