As mentioned in this thread http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=60607 the toast pop ups are quite annoying and intrusive when using the touch screen. It would be very useful if they did not appear when the screen is been used in touch screen mode, maybe utilising the proximity sensor.

Something to consider when working in the proximity sensor work.  (May not be related to proximity sensor, i.e. just be tied to touch skin...)
