Bugzilla – Bug 11186
Issue with artwork when making a track a Favorites
Last modified: 2009-06-17 09:37:00 UTC
I've tried and verified this and am not sure if its a bug or works as designed, but a customer states that this did work in a previous version of SqueezeCenter (he was unsure exactly what version it worked in). I've verified this with iTunes music and just MP3 files. When adding a tracks with artwork that you can view through Artists, Albums, or any other browsing method to your Favorites, you cannot see the artwork in the Favorites view. This is regardless of the file type and also whether using iTunes or just the Music Folder option.
In the web UI or on the Controller or both?
Works for me with Flac/MP3/M4A/WMA in: SC 7.4.0 r24148 (MAC) SC 7.2.1 r23630 (XP) SC 7.3.2 r24695 (Vista) SC 7.3.3 r25126 (Vista) == tested SBC === 7.2 r3191 7.3 r3993 7.4 r4154 ---------------------------- Julius please provide more information, screen shots of the error would help, as well as step by step on how to reproduce the error.
This is really strange, I did a 'clear and rescan' library, and now I'm seeing this issue?? Michal: what logging do you want me to turn on? tested with 7.3.3 Vista

We are now planning to make a 7.3.3 release. Please review your bugs (all marked open against 7.3.3) to see if they can be fixed in the next few weeks, or if they should be retargeted for 7.4 or future. Thanks!
change 25581 - iconForUrl() used to have its own handler for single tracks (files). But files are now handled by their own class. Need to move the icon handling code to Slim::Player::ProtocolHandlers::File->getIcon()
verified fix in SC 7.3.3 r25948
