Description Hendrik van Antwerpen 2009-02-22 06:55:50 UTC
After holding the Back-button on my Controller it disconnected from my player and server. When I want to connect again (Settings > Music Source > <my squeezecenter server>) it fails. A short shift in the screen when U select my server but it stays in the list. I cannot find a way to connect to my server again.

I use SqueezeCenter 7.3.2 (r24695) with Controller-firmware r3993.

If you use 'select player' instead of select server, does the SBC reconnect to the player/server properly?
Comment 4 Hendrik van Antwerpen 2009-02-23 15:30:54 UTC
Where in the menu can I find that option?
Comment 5 Hendrik van Antwerpen 2009-02-23 15:47:42 UTC
I found the option (had to enable it in Settings > Home Menu first). Connecting to a player does work.
Comment 6 James Richardson 2009-02-23 15:51:39 UTC
Selecting a 'player' is the proper way to get the SBC back on the network.
Comment 7 Hendrik van Antwerpen 2009-02-24 02:05:00 UTC
Wouldn't it be better to always show that option in the menu when the controller is disconnected and not the Music Source menu?
Comment 8 James Richardson 2009-02-24 07:10:36 UTC
It should always be displayed when the SBC is disconnected from the player, unless you have modified your home menu.

I have verified that FW r3993 is properly showing the 'Choose Player' menu when going to forced setup. I.E. holding back button for 3 sec
