Description Michael Herger 2009-02-20 13:47:29 UTC
I've configured a WLAN with wep64 protection. Whenever I reboot it goes into the "connecting to squeezebox" spinny, as it isn't connected to the network. I then have to go through the network setup again where I can select my previously configured WLAN.

This behaviour is still the same after an upgrade with enforced factory reset to fw 4400.

I use WPA-PSK and have never had this problem with any firmware version. Possibly related, I've noticed that if the selected player before the reset is itself, the FAB4 won't reconnect to SC. I have to manually go to Music Source, but wireless networking is still fine. If the Fab4 is connected to a different player at reboot, it boots up and reconnects without issue.

That's fine, if there's an ethernet network plugged in. :)

Michael: I assume you are still using an SSID with a "-" in it, no? If that is true you are still seeing the same as in bug: 10809
