Description Dan Sully 2003-12-27 11:17:54 UTC
When playing files with incorrect times, browser refreshs constantly, killing
performance and causing dropouts on wireless.

"Here is the problem.
The song time runs about 4 times too fast.
When displaying remaining time; the time counts down
to -00:00 then jumps to -00:59, when it hits 00:00
again it displays a double minus (--1:59).

When the double minus appears, the browser refresh
timing goes to zero causing continuous refresh. The
cpu load causes dropouts."

Can you attach or send a sample file that exhibits this problem?
Comment 2 Dan Sully 2003-12-28 22:48:48 UTC
This is caused by the song time being incorrectly calculated. Fixed by doing a
wallclock count in Slim/Player/Source.pm just like streaming.

There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006. I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.
