Bugzilla – Bug 11083
Give user option to display track number next to song name
Last modified: 2011-11-06 23:22:56 UTC
Ticket # 090211-001391 Enhancement Request: Customer would like the ability to change how Titles are displayed on the Squeezebox Controller as you can do on the Squeezebox and Squeezebox Boom. *************From the customer:************* I would like to be able to control this from the Controller's interface (and possibly also from the web interface, but the latter has a lower priority). When, for example, you add a long album to the playlist, and your son says to you, "Dad, please play track 18", then you have to literally count the songs as they scroll by to find track 18 (if you do not know the track name). Being able to add the track number next to the title on the Controller's display would be a great help. Best regards, Martin Gamwell Dawids **************************************************** Steps to recreate: If you are in SqueezeCenter: Settings > Player Tab Here, you can change the way the Titles display on the Squeezebox Boom and Squeezebox, but you cannot to this for the Squeezebox Duet. Thanks, LaRon
QA to verify, this sounds more like a bug then enhancement, as IP3K can do this, but SqueezeOS can not.
We are now planning to make a 7.3.3 release. Please review your bugs (all marked open against 7.3.3) to see if they can be fixed in the next few weeks, or if they should be retargeted for 7.4 or future. Thanks!
Created attachment 4984 [details] Combined IP3K & SqueezeOS settings page IP3K vs SqueezeOS SC settings page. SqueezeOS players should have the same Basic Settings page as IP3K players, when it comes to how info is displayed on the target players
