Bugzilla – Bug 10999
Transcoding leaves lame.exe and socketwrapper.exe processes running
Last modified: 2009-02-08 07:13:55 UTC
Created attachment 4781 [details] Screenshot of Windows Task Manager SC7.4-24920/Windows (svn)/Perl 5.8.8.824 Transcoding to 128 kbps (for a remote player, i.e. at work) leaves a lot of lame.exe's hanging around. See screenshot from Windows Task Manager. I *guess* this happened when stopping a song or maybe aborting the remote player since it seemed unresponsive at times. (Both using SqueezePlay and SoftSqueeze.) The lame.exe processes won't be terminated even if terminating slimserver.
As many "socketwrapper.exe" processes as I had "lame.exe" processes are also still there.
IMHO this is a duplicate of bug 10917 - if you agree you may change the bug status accordingly...
